Egypt's Arab Investment Bank recently secured access to up to USD 10 million for on-lending to micro-, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) active in agricultural value chains. EBRD is funding the credit line, part of which is slated to allow the MSMEs to make "climate-resilient investments and [adopt] sustainable practices." The Arab Investment Bank has assets valued at USD 1.9 billion. Thank you to EBRD for this news item.
